51CrV4 is chromium vanadium type spring steel with low distortion properties and easily heat treated, suitable for oil hardneing and tempering. Hardened and tempered 51CrV4 steel (equivalent to AISI6150 steel), offers excellent toughness and shock resistance which makes it suitable alloy spring steel parts exposed to stress, vibration, shock. This material is widely use for making band saw blade.

50CrV4 spring steel is supplied in strip/coil/sheet conditions. When treating the steel in hardening and tempering conditions, it give steel spring characteristics with excellent resistance.
