Hardened and tempered C100S SK4 carbon steel strip manufacturer
Guangzhou Cgoodsteel Co., Ltd, produces SK4 and C100S carbon steel strip by two heat treatments (annealed and quenched & tempered). SK4 and C100S steel strips are widely used in the field of mechanical processing, especially in the manufacture of tools and molds, due to its excellent wear resistance, high hardness and good cutting performance.
These materials have the following characteristics:
Chemical composition:
Carbon (C): 0.95 - 1.04%
Silicon (Si): max 0.35%
Manganese (Mn): max 0.4%
Phosphorus (P): ≤0.035%
Sulfur (S): ≤0.035%
Factory production Specification range
Cold rolled condtions: 21-28HRC
Annealed conditions: below 19HRC
Hardened and tempered condtions: 300-650HV
Thickness: 0.15mm to 5.50mm
Width: 2mm to 600mm
Edge: slit, round, square edge
Surface: nature, bright, polished, white, blue, ect
Heat treatment process
We supply the three steel materials in 3 states:
1- annealed process
2- cold rolled process
3- quenched & tempered process
Application area
SK4 and C100S steels are often used to manufacture springs, hinges, band saws, auto parts, angle irons, tape measures, metal washers, spacers, etc. due to its good hardness and toughness.
