The chemical compsition is C(％): 0.80-0.90, Si(％) 0.15-0.35 Mn(％): 0.15-0.50 P(％): max 0.030 S(％): max 0.030. SK85 high carbon steel is enquivalent to SK5 high carbon steel. Due to their hardenability, product performance, affordability, SK85 carbon tool steels are widely used cold-rolled special steel strips.
